  • It is a free application supported on Android, iPhones and iPads for readily printing photos or documents. Your iOS device and printer have to be connected over the same network.
  • Open the Canon Print Business and tap the Documents option.
  • To print your local documents, select the Local option, and tap Documents
  • Select the file name, and wait for the Preview screen to open.
  • Look for the Print icon and select it.
  • Specify the printer’s name under the Printer option, and modify the settings if required.
  • Preview the document, make changes to it, and tap print.

Canon ImageCLASS LB113w Replacing Toner/Drum Cartridge

  • Check the toner level in the installed toner or drum cartridge. Select the Device Information from the Status Monitor, and choose the Cartridge level option.
  • Remove the output cover, and close the paper stopper.
  • Raise the toner cover and take the toner cartridge out.
  • If you want to replace the drum cartridge, remove it. Do not shake or tilt the drum cartridge. Replace the new drum cartridge.
  • If you are replacing the toner cartridge, pull the tab on it to peel off the protective tape.
  • Unpack the cartridge and shake it at least 5-6 times to spread the toner evenly.
  • Insert the new toner into the printer, and close the cover.
  • Fix the output cover.

Updating The Canon ImageCLASS LB113w Printer Firmware

  • To update the printer firmware from the printer control panel:
  • Select the Menu option on the Home screen, and choose System Management Settings.
  • When prompted, enter the system manager PIN, and then select the Update Firmware option.
  • Choose the Internet option, and select Yes. Accept the license agreement and press OK to confirm.
  • Wait until the firmware update completes. Once the update is complete, the printer restarts automatically.

  • Go to the manufacturer’s site, and provide your printer model.
  • Visit the Product Support section and select Firmware.
  • Click Download the firmware.
  • Make use of User Support Tool for updating the firmware.

  • Make sure you are using compatible print media of correct paper size.
  • Change the Special Printing Mode A setting to Mode 2 to increase the quality grade to a higher level.

  • Check if the print settings match with your requirement. If the settings are different, open the Print dialog box and modify the settings if required.
  • If the problem remains unresolved, proceed with the steps below.
  • Try cleaning the fixing assembly. Select the Menu option on the homescreen, and choose the Adjustment/Maintenance option.
  • Choose Clean Fixing Assembly, set the paper size & type, and select Start
  • When there is a jam in the printer, a message indicating the same appears on the screen.
  • The possible locations where a jam could occur are the Output tray, inside of the machine, drawer, etc.
  • Remove the output cover on the top of the printer.
  • Press the paper stopper and then open the toner cover.
  • Remove the toner cartridge and then the drum.
  • Check for jammed paper from the inside of the printer and remove them.
  • Reinsert the cartridges and close the toner cover.
  • To remove jammed paper from the drawer, take the paper cover on the drawer, and remove any loaded paper.
  • Pull out any jammed paper and reload the stack of paper into it. Try to print.
  • Make sure the toner and drum cartridges are not empty.
  • Check if you have loaded enough paper into the tray.
  • Ensure that your Canon printer is connected to your computer. If you have established a USB connection, check for any damages on the USB cable and replace it.
  • For a network connection, ensure that the signal is strong and that your computer is connected to the same network. Try moving the printer close to the router.
  • If you have a Windows computer connected to the printer, click the Start menu, and select the Settings option.
  • Choose the Update & Security option and then select Troubleshoot.
  • Click the Print option, and select the Run the Troubleshooter option.
  • Restart your computer, and check if you can print.
  • If the issue persists, reinstall the printer driver by following the steps below.
  • Open Programs and Features by pressing the Windows and X keys on your keyboard.
  • Look for the Canon ImageCLASS LB113w printer and uninstall it.
  • If your computer runs on Windows, open the Devices and Printers folder, and right-click on the Canon ImageCLASS LB113w printer icon. Select the Uninstall option.
  • Now press the Windows and R keys to open the Run dialog box. Type printui.exe /s in open field, and click OK.
  • Select Drivers and remove the Canon printer driver. Click the OK option.
  • Once the Print Server Properties window opens, select the Apply option. Exit the Drivers and printers option, and wait until the driver uninstalls.
  • Restart your computer, and reinstall the updated version of the printer driver. Try to print.
  • Click Start, and scroll down to select Control Panel. Open the Hardware and Sound window, and choose the Printers option.
  • Look for your printer model, and right-click on it. Select the Use Printer Online option. Now try to print a document.
  • If the document does not print, double-click the Printer icon that appears on the left of the Windows taskbar.
  • Select the Restart option from the Document menu.
  • For Windows 7, right-click on the printer’s icon displayed on the Devices and Printers window, and select See what’s printing.
  • Click the Printer tab on the next screen that opens and choose Use Printer Offline. Exit the window and try to print.
  • If the issue persists, re-install the printer driver and update the firmware.
  • Power cycle printer, this should fix the issue.
