  • Launch the IJ Scan Utility tool.
  • Click the Settings tab. Now the Settings dialog box displays on the screen.
  • Click the Photo Scan tab or the other tab that you need to customize on the left side of the Settings panel.
  • Click on the Check Scan results checkbox and then select the OK option.
  • Select the destination folder where you need to save the scan results.
  • Now, tap the tools tab based on the type of scan item on the IJ Scan Utility tool.
  • When the printer successfully scans the photo, the Save Settings dialog box appears on the screen.

  • If you are not able to connect the router and the Canon machine after switching to a new network connection, be patient until the IP is assigned to your computer.
  • If the connection fails, restart the computer.
  • If the Canon machine fails to communicate with Wireless LAN, make sure it is turned on and working correctly.
  • Ensure that the Canon Pixma MG3520 setup and computer are connected to the same wireless network.

  • Check and confirm whether the power cord is securely plugged into the electrical outlet.
  • Once you have confirmed the secure connection, press the ON button on the printer operation panel to turn on the printer.
  • When you are providing large inputs like photos or graphics to print on the Canon machine, it might take a bit longer to start the printing process.
  • Do not urge the machine for instant output. Wait for a while before starting to print on your Canon machine.
  • Ensure that your Canon machine is properly connected to your computer.
  • Make sure the front tray is not open.
  • If there are multiple jobs queued up, remove all the unnecessary print job inputs.
  • Make sure you have chosen the appropriate printer name to print. If you have selected a different printer name, the printing process always fails.
  • Set your Canon PIXMA MG3500/MG3520 printer as your default computer while you are printing with it.
  • Configure the Canon Pixma MG3520 setup port correctly and set up the appropriate settings.
  • If the print data is extremely large, enable the Prevention of Print Data loss which allows you to print the file with less print quality.
